Dating : How do I make it clear it’s a date?

I’m thinking about asking out a classmate of mine and I was wondering, how can I do it making it clear that it’s not just a casual hang-out, which she might think since we’re already kinda friends? I’d like to send a very clear message since I wanna make sure, in case she accepts, that she does so because she is actually intersted in me not just because she thinks she’s gonna hang out with a friend. Also, there is no word for « date » in my language or rather, there is, but it’s not really used. Any suggestions?

  1. There may not be one word for it, but I refuse to believe any language doesn’t have at least a 2 or 3 word phrase that clearly indicates this. Just straight up mention it and call it that when you ask.

  2. Honestly, you’re probably already in the friendzone. If she was into you, believe me, you’d know. Treasure the friendship, but look elsewhere for love.
