Dating : I don’t get him
So I’m dating this guy and I really really like him. He’d travel approximately 4 hours just to see me for 5 minutes and he’d give me handmade gifts and shit like that. But it really bothers me that whenever he talks about his ex, I’d feel so insecure about myself and I feel like I wouldn’t be able to keep up with whatever they’ve been through. He’d ALWAYS talk about their sex life, or how great their dates were. Last night we were playing this game where you give a number and send the photo from your phone gallery of that corresponding number. The last photo he sent me was a selfie of him and his ex having sex. I felt so off I just stopped talking to him. I know it’s not his fault but damn what are the odds that that was the 1046th photo on his phone lol. I’m kinda sad about it and I think if this ex thing goes on I’m going to lose interest in him which is a shame because he’s very smart and interesting.
Honestly. He shouldn’t still have those pics on his phone still. And more importantly, he shouldn’t have sent it even if it was the 1046th pic in his phone. Like, dude, why would you send your current girl a picture of you fucking another girl. That’s not cool in the slightest. I’m not one of those sit down and talk about this kind of people. If my current girlfriend did that to me we would be instantly broken up. It shows a deep lack of respect. And raises a major red flag. The fact that he obviously isn’t over his ex is also another red flag. I know you’re probably hoping for something more cheerful, but again, in all honesty, that was just a douchebag move on top of being tremendously stupid. Move on. Find someone that doesn’t feel the need to bring up their old sex life with old partners and sends you pics of him and his ex fucking
I wouldn’t be talking about dates i went on with my ex and etc…. unless it was a quick mention but i try not to do that.
The guy either has insecurity issues that he feels the need to brag about his sex life, or has some deep emotional attachment to his ex. I think the latter is more likely. I suggest you move on either way.
