Dating : She « kinda » agreed to meeting but doesnt want to set a definite date and Iam a bit discouraged because she now set her whatsapp-profile picture to a selfie with another guy.
So there is this new girl that checked out our school district because she might join us next year after the holidays. I thought she was cute and she laughed at a few of my jokes. So I started texting her. We did have an exchange for like 2 days and I thouht to myself: Last time I waited Months to ask someone out and I got rejected, lets be crazy this time and call her and ask her out right now! I did with my heart racing. She did not pick up and asked me via a text Message what I wanted. I Send her a voicemail asking her out. She said she wasnt home so I said i meant in the near future. (mistake on my part?)
After I specied for a certain day and time she responded that she will have to look into it but would like to meet.
Now what really discouraged me was that after that she changed her profile picture to that with another guy who I dont know. A buddy of mine also has got a picture with a girl he just is friends with.
What should I do about this?
Are these red flags?
What Mistakes may I have made?
Should I worry about said profile picture change?

Most likely means she’s with the current guy in the picture but is probably leading you on incase things with the current guy doesn’t work early on. You’d be a fall back or safety net.

I would have just texted her instead of called.
I’d try again next week and if she still doesn’t say yes to a specific time/place, I’d move on.
If it isnt a solid yes then its a solid no.
The guy in the photo could just be a friend. That said if you asked her out and she didn’t either say yes or counter offer with a date or time which worked better for her she is almost certainly not interested. I would move on
