Dating : How important is physical apperance for a guy (for example teeth)?

24/yo hetrosexual male here. I think my natural looks are average/good but one thing I dont like is the colour of my teeth. They are pretty yellow and and has almost a darker colour than my skin. I know it would boost my apperance to get them whitened, but would this have any significant effect on attracting women? I know looks matters but arent nearly as important for women as for men.
I know me feeling more confident about my apparance could make me indirectly more attractive because of the confidence it can provide.
There is still a part of me that is a bit hesitant to do it because I feel it would be more benifitial in the long run to accept myself as I am.
What are your thoughts?
The best whitening method imo is strips from the drug store. They work just as well as going to the dentist if not better so it wouldn’t even be too expensive.
If you think you’d feel more confident about yourself in the long run, I say go for it! Teeth whitening now is a relatively affordable, at-home procedure. While women do have more pressure on themselves in general to « look attractive, » it’s also more socially acceptable for women to do things that make themselves feel cute, like wear makeup or get a nice haircut. IMO I wish society was more comfortable with men who want to pursue personal grooming options like teeth whitening, eyebrow waxing, wearing a little spot concealer over zits. People certainly don’t have to do those things, but I love having the option to do so and I feel more confident in presenting myself because of it.

To answer your original question, for me, as a heterosexual woman, yes, whiter teeth/a brighter smile is a turn-on. As a natural extension of this, women generally like guys who smile/seem at ease with themselves. So going back to the above, if you feel more confident with whiter teeth, women will most likely be more attracted to you – not just because of the whiter smile but because we can tell you feel good about yourself.
For me, crooked/not white teeth wouldn’t put me off, but a really nice smile is a HUGE turn on. It just makes me giddy.
there are very attractive people with bad teeth. if anything it’s a loose indicator of social class, since braces and dentistry are expensive. with that said I have done invisalign which was $6000 and whitening is a relative bargain that makes you look better

My mom wasn’t sure if she should PICK my dad in an arrange marriage. She has 5 suiters, my dad wasn’t her 1st choice but he has excellent White Teeth. My mom consulted my grandma, and she said: **Pick a Man is like picking a HORSE**. A horse with a strong Teeth = Strong Bone. Same with the man. That is how my DAD landed my mother.
Stop thinking it’s a numbers game!! Invest on yourself. Make yourself more attractive, work on your hygiene. Women will find that attractive knowing that you work on yourself.
Dont think about it in terms of what others will think. If getting your teeth whiter will make you feel better and more confident then go for it! If you feel better about yourself then that’s the main step.
People have different views on teeth. It depends on the person and what they find attractive. Some people want a partner with good teeth, others it doesn’t bother as much
Anything physical women demand to be at the highest caliber. Even stupid shit like eyebrows (not a unibrow I mean your basic fucking eyebrows). It’s honestly pretty ridiculous.
Yes, do it! It would have a significant effect. I don’t mind if a guy’s teeth are crooked, just whether they seem clean. If you’re going to be swapping spit, I’d like to know that I’m not getting any oddly mixed fluids. From an evolutionary perspective, yellow/brown teeth indicate decay, so you want to appear as healthy as possible to attract a mate
