Dating : My experience so far
Have been living in this world for 26 years.

My personal experience so far with dating is quite average and lonesome. I’ve been single for ages (last gf was when I was 18) and I could vouch for having bad luck with dating. I met tons of girls but it’s a mixture of I blew my chances because I was rather passive to the girl is catfishing me.

So far I haven’t met a girl who share the views as I do. Maybe it’s the culture difference? Maybe it’s because of me being awkward? Maybe it’s just a no from both sides. All of this are just a collective maybes that makes my situation flat.

So far I need to be more « aggressive » towards girls as all my friends point out. It’s either be first or be last. So I should go for it and not sit there idling.

Being a passive guy does suck a lot. But my problem is that I just don’t have the drive to chase girls anymore because I find that it’s boring and ends up with me being rejected. « You just need to find the right person » is a generic advice that is being told 10000000 times to me. But I’m stuck between should I just find the right person or just be more aggressive towards girls that I’m attracted to? Maybe both?

It’s not like I’m thirsty for sex but rather thirsty for that connection that I dearly missed. But that special connection is harder to find. I felt that I would never find that connection since girls have different personalities (Social media persona vs real life) where I just can’t find an awesome girl in real life. It’s like girls are more « alive » on social media than real life.
