True love is a lie. Love was created to justify unfavorable arranged marriages, or lust in the middle ages, possibly before. Love is a tool used by those with malice to gain the upper hand on someone who is innocent. When you realize love never existed in the first place, and all interaction between anyone even a « significant other » is transactional, it becomes infinitely easier to see through bullshit. People get together out of lust, and stay together out of shared necessity.

True love is.. unconditional. Letting the other person be who they are, instead of trying to change them into someone who makes you more comfortable.
True love is growing together, challenging each other, communicating openly and choosing each other in all the small moments.
True love is letting each other be FREE, whilst doing life together.
