Dating : How long to make things official usually?
Basically the title. I’m 24m and she is 22f, we’ve been talking and going out for a little over two months now. Last week after a really long date she said she likes me a lot and wanted to be really intentional about seeing where things go with me and she wants to date me exclusively. I told her I felt the same way and I agreed to date her exclusively. I’m not in any particular rush or anything, but I was curious how long it typically takes to go from dating exclusively, to being boyfriend & girlfriend? We are seeing each other pretty frequently at this point. We got together yesterday, and we are also spending almost all day tomorrow together. Next week I’m meeting some of her friends on a double date and she mentioned she wants to meet some of my friends too. So I don’t think we are very far from being official. Maybe 1 or 2 weeks? What do you guys think?
For me dating exclusively is synonymous with being bf/gf.

You guys are basically boyfriend and girlfriend.
1. You’ve already communicated mutual interest in bf/gf. Dating exclusively just means cutting off options and being serious.
2. She’s going on a double date with her friends, and to see your friends. That indicates a high level of interest. Most people not interested in anything more than casual/dating would not want to meet their friends/mothers/family.
3. You guys literally spend a lot of time, something most people in committed relationships generally do.
For me dating is exclusive. You don’t date multiple people because it means you aren’t focused and serious on any of them. I don’t see anyway you can be genuine about someone while also dating another.
In my experience, women want an official status around the 100day mark.
If you’re explicitly dating exclusively, then it’s probably assumed y’all are bf/gf.
just ask her if she wants to be exclusive
gf/bf = exclusive, to most everyone on the planet
