OLD is a shit place to showcase your personality. There’s many things that go into communicating besides words. It’s incredibly difficult to know if you have chemistry with someone based on a 300 character bio.
This is why Tinder and the like are practically hot or not. There’s nothing to judge people on other than their looks. OLD works great for really attractive people not so much for ordinary folks.
Go out an meet people. It’s the best way and women tend to not put as much emphasis on looks irl from my experience.

Dating sites are all about looks. It’s hard to meet people in person and click with personality cause well people think that’s weird now. Wish everyone would just be open to rejection & saying no.
Obviously on a dating app you’ll attract more with looks than personality. At least now you know you’re not ugly, just hit the gym and you’ll get tons of matches. You can’t complain about not getting matches if you’re overweight.
Attract them with looks, keep them with personality. Especially in OLD, you’re not going to get matches if you don’t put some effort into your looks. Just like you wouldn’t match with a woman you aren’t attracted to.
They don’t see your personality from the few lines of text that come with a profile.
Matches in online dating are obviously going to be influenced by the photos since that’s what everyone is looking at first. If the photos are good enough then they may read the text and if that’s not a turn off they may reach out where you have the chance to have a personality.

Well yeah……that’s how dating apps work.
In person your personality can do wonders but on dating apps your personality may as well not exist if you’re unattractive.
That’s just how it is, if you’re not attractive don’t use the dating apps or work on your appearance as much as you can.
And then you show up and don’t match your pictures…that will go well…
