Dating : After feeling like shit all week I finally had a breakthrough
I’m at a competition (for twirling) and every year these baseball players come to our hotel because they have a contract with the hotel, as does my team. I’ve not been feeling too good about myself because my friends are fucking drop dead gorgeous and I’ve kind of been dubbed the “ugly friend”. Things got even worse when they all asked my friend for her snap right in front of me and didn’t
I was watching a group twirl and they had a boy. It wasn’t unusual but usually you assume they’re gay. I recognized the group because their coach is a fairly famous twirler in the twirling world. I found out that this boy was the brother of the coach. I followed him on insta, and he followed back which was surprising, since he had a large following. The next day a good friend of mine tagged him in a story on Snapchat and so I added him, once again he added back. I was again, shocked. Then about 2 minutes later, he snapped me. We got to talking and I asked him why he added me and he replied “your hot”.
Here’s where the story gets interesting
The more we talk the more I like him. He was twirling in the gym over and that’s where my friend was competing so I went over with her. He was juggling and twirling and my friends little sister wanted to go talk to him so we did. And we talked and talked until I have to leave. Right before I left there was a balloon so I wrote my phone number on it and wrote “text/snap me”. I get a text from him and we end up texting/ all night. He told me how beautiful I was and how my friends were nothing compared to me and how my smile was “magnetic”. He told me I was a “goddess”. Things went amazing and he just kept complimenting me over and over. The next morning (today) it’s the last day we’re both going to be there. He won something so he was on the floor and then he got changed and sat with me. Then we left the gym and found a secluded spot and made out! Like it was INSANE. Then we got a pic. Then we had to say our goodbyes and we kissed again. And I might never see him again and I don’t care because it was such a confidence boost and his sisters a famous twirler so…
