Dating : Am I ghosted? Why do you think he hasn’t texted me after sex?
So I’ve been dating this guy for about 4 months and we’re really close because we’ve dated before in the past. I went to his house and we had an amazing time and what to me seemed like amazing sex.
this was the first time we’ve had sex since we started dating this time around. Before the sex he texted me at least every other day, but it’s been almost two days since the sex and he hasn’t contacted me yet, except for right after I got home from his house, to make sure I made it and that I had a good time.
Should I assume I’m ghosted or is it even something to worry about?
TLDR: guy hasn’t txted me 2.5 days after sex other than making sure I made it home safe afterwards.

Maybe he’s waiting for you to text him? I mean communication is two-way
I mean he texted you right after you got home so it’s not really ghosting is it?
Lots of self help books/dating coaches say that a guy should wait for a few days after a date before messaging again, as it makes you think about them more and more. Which is clearly working 😛

Ghosted means they’re not responding and haven’t for some time (like days). If you haven’t sent anything requiring a response (like a question), there is no ghost.
Regarding the sex thing: I tend to message girls less after sex. On the one hand you could say « I got what I wanted so now I’m not putting in the same effort »; on the other you could say I’ve gotten more comfortable and don’t see the need to perform/be your entertainment because we’re reaching a new level in the relationship. Both are kinda true, but for me it’s more like the 2nd. We’ll cross oceans for that first sex cause I guess we believe a leprechaun might pop out and grant us 3 wishes – after we find out it’s a regular vagina, we sort of chill and think we’ll someday return

Send him a message for another time to catch up or find an event on soon and ask him if he wants to go with you or send him a gif or something random?? So you can see if he’ll respond to that or leave you hanging. It’s happened to me so many times even after months of dating and then bam gone.
