Dating : Asking guys what relationship they’re seeking
Hi, am new-ish to dating apps! Have had them for like a week now, with hinge being my primary.
I’ve realized (maybe a tad too late) that while texting/small-talking with my matches, that I forgot to ask them what their relationship goals were.
Would it be too weird/awkward to ask them now, point blank, or should I wait until there’s a better point during our convo to ask?
I don’t want to waste their time if it turns out they want something different. I personally am seeking something a bit more than casual (like fwb up to serious? 🥴) Would appreciate any advice!

Guy here. Just ask. I personally would appreciate the respect of my time.
The better thing is to see not only what he tells you, but what he shows you with his actions. People who just want to fuck will often lie to get there.
If a guy wants kids & thinks you’re at least possible mom-material, he won’t be afraid of the conversation.
Make sure you ask tactically. I’ll never forget this one woman who asked and it made me feel like I was just a means to an end. Like she wasn’t actually looking for true love, she was just looking for a husband to have kids with.
It shows that you’re mature. Nothing wrong with going straight to the point especially if you’re a hundred percent know what YOU want. Just say what you mentioned in the last sentence. Most people appreciate so that they don’t have to play the guessing game.
Would suggest having your own on your dating app profile.
Say if you are looking for nsa or love or whatever the case may be.
No point in pretending to want something more likely to get right swipes only to drop the marriage bomb after both you and the candidate has wasted time sharing txts.
