Dating : Boyfriend won’t give me any money after i lost my job
So i moved in with my boyfriend and due to financial difficulties getting back and forth to work i was let go of my job, ive been looking for a job and got an offer however i have no money which isn’t my boyfriend’s issue but im completely tapped out. He wont go grocery shopping until i give him some money to help out and keeps making jokes about the bills which im trying to hurry and get a job to help out but deep down i feel bad because he makes almost 6 figures and i have nothing to my name unfortunately. I just need advice on how to handle things like this
I guess it depends on how much your looking for but a few hundred for food and the odd bill I wouldn’t care if I was making 6 figures . His lack of a bit of help when your hard up is kinda a red flag to me especially for not even buying food .
Work on finding a job and the moment you do, leave this guy. My neighbor that I spoke to 2x would lend me money much less a boyfriend, he sounds stingy.
Unless you moved in without his permission, if you lost your job then he should be helping pay for necessities. After you get a job then you can help pay those yourself. You shouldn’t be in a relationship if you guys can’t support each other when you need to.
How long have you been together? TBH that would throw some red flags my way as well if you’re not able to contribute at all. Can you get unemployment?

He’s doing a lot more than he should. I hope you at least cook all the meals + do all the housework if you don’t even have a job
If he makes enough money to support both of you, why can’t he support you while you get a job, which clearly sounds like it’s what you are doing?
If you don’t have money, you don’t have money and that’s that, if he refuses to do grocery shopping and paying bills it’s on him if he starves or gets services cut off. He sounds pretty immature and like a terrible partner to become restless over.

Ask someone else if you can borrow some cash and pay them back once your working
