Dating : Clubbing in the 21st century.
I became single about 4 months ago, I was excited to get back into clubs without a girlfriend and to start dating again, but Jesus Christ I hate the “pulling” scene in clubs now.
I’m 19 so maybe it’s different for older people but in my experience there’s just a group of girls minding their own business trying to have a fun time and dancing and a random guy will come up behind one of them and start grinding on them… there’s no consent it’s just so seedy and creepy. I can’t bring myself to do this even though I know it’s almost impossible to do it at clubs otherwise without buying drinks and such which I don’t have the money for.
Am I thinking about it too much? Is it fine do this kind of stuff?
Oh wow, I misjudged the headline. I thought this would be a rant about how one can’t go clubbing without bumping into a group of people taking selfies or trying to film the DJ for posterity.
People go to clubs to get fucked up and sometimes have sex with strangers. The popular drugs and the music change but the other stuff never does.
