Dating : Do guys not like when girl gives out her number on a dating app?
I am on one online dating app (hinge) and I really don’t like or have time to carry on a conversation back and forth on it. Usually, if someone is interested in me and if I like them back I give them my number so they can text me and plan a date. I am not worried about giving my number because I am extremely picky with my selections and worst case I can block them. However, out of the three guys I have give out my number to only one texted me and the other two suddenly disappeared. And to one of them, I gave my number specifically after he asked if I would like to meet. I am curious if me giving number comes off as creepy or desperate or are they worried that I am a scammer? Any thoughts from men?

I love when the opposite party makes the first move because it eases the stress of thinking that perhaps things weren’t right or maybe something made someone uncomfortable. So no it doesn’t come off as creepy it just sounds like you’ve been dealing with ghosts.

I don’t see a problem with that. I’d love it if I got a # right away, mainly because itd just be easier to text rather than open the app everytime I want to message someone.
