Dating : Do some people give dry replies but very engage conversations in person?
The guy ( seems like shy and introvert) I’m talking to give dry replies sometimes but he always talk really well and engage conversations in person and shows interest.

you mean he sends dry texts? he could just not be much of a texter. try calls every now and then to see if anything changes. i have a friend who isnt on their phone much, but when we’re in person we can talk about anything.
I think that’s actually pretty normal. I am exactly like that lol. A lot of the time I respond super late too. I would say don’t think anything of it, he’s probably just not much of a texter. In person convos are more meaningful anyways, right?
Oh yeah absolutely. Some people just don’t like texting and are bad at it. How they are in person is much much more important.
I think for some people non-verbal communication is very important. For me for example, I’m a pretty good texter and conversation, but if I try flirting over text I’m total garbage because I can’t physically see how the person is responding to what I’m saying/doing.
My crush talks very little by text but is an absolute delight to talk with in person.
Some people really are like that.

I’m not the greatest texter either, I much prefer phone calls and interacting in person. The girl I’m going out with is pretty similar so no complaints on my part there
