Dating : First Date Ideas?
Hey everyone, I finally said screw it and asked a cute girl I met a couple weeks ago out on a date. This is my first first date in a long time. That being said, I was wondering if anyone can provide some good date ideas? We’re both college students so first dates are usually fraternity or sorority balls so I’m kinda lost as to what to do. Time is going to be in the evening around 9 (only way scheduling works). We’re near Venice beach in LA if that’s helpful as well.
I was thinking ice cream and a small bottle of wine on the beach or something. The wine idea might be a little too much for a first date

Jamba juice. It’s cheap and you can talk/get to know eachother. Then go from there.
Go for a walk down Venice and go to one of the local hole in the wall burger joints. Just make sure a place you choose isn’t overly crowded or noisy. Then walk along the beach and take off your shoes and get a little wet!! It’s summer!!!
I think ice cream is a good idea. If you have a bit more time I strongly recommend dinner at C&O Trattoria. In addition to being a really good Italian restaurant, twice a night the entire restaurant sings That’s Amore. It’s so much fun. It’s right on Venice Beach on Washington Blvd. There is also a companion restaurant C&O Cucina that has a « rat pack » bar attached to it too.
