Dating : For online dating, what’s your opening message.
Since online dating is tough, too many guys and a few girls, I thought I’d ask reddit for help. When you first message someone, with a like, (you normally can send a like and a message), what do you send? Is it just a « Hi », joke or something?
I usually ask them about something they seem to be into in their profile. I haven’t had a huge amount of luck but I am just sort of a regular looking guy
if they have nothing in their bio that u can reference i just say hey how are you or sth. In my experience they are fine with that even tho they get it a lot its still better than straight up asking for sex
Did you just fart? Because you blow me away
If there is nothing to go on from their photos or bio, I just go with Hi <name>, how are you?
And in 90% of the cases, there was a reply and a following conversation.
Jokes or something else clever, rarely have worked for me personally. but that’s maybe because I was obviously trying too hard.
