Dating : Guys, has a girl ever given you her number unprompted, or asked you out?
By unprompted I mean you don’t really talk to them much, & they just give you their number or ask for yours basically out of the blue.
I ask because this girl at work gave me her number out of the blue, which makes the 4th time this has happened to me in the course of my life. So I’m just curious as to how common this is for other guys.
I call it a win if a Woman even looks in my direction.

Just happened to me last night. She gave me her number and even invited me to stay at her apartment sometime.
It always seems to happen with girls who I’m not romantically interested in. I guess because that’s when I’m acting myself and not super nervous or flirtatious.
I’m a really ugly dude, I just have a great personality. So it typically happens after I’ve known the girl for a while, even though we don’t know each other too well

I however only remember one time a girl asked me out.
It was quick and direct.
She stopped me at a bar, said I looked cute, aske dme out, followed by asking for my number.
I said yes, and exchanged details.
But to me, it proved the point that confidence makes your more attractive. When she asked me out, I found her to be looking good.
When I met her again…. She wasn’t my type to say it lightly.
There were also some other things that didn’t match up between us, so we only met a few times, and then not again.
Yeah it’s happened a few times. Usually at bars and pubs. I chat for a few minutes, then they ask if I want to come over to their place.
At my college this woman asked for my number but it turns out she’s married…. so I didn’t go through with it
I was volunteering at the casino once and after asking for directions with the cute security guard, she gave me her number without me asking for it on a piece of paper at the end of her shift (I still had two hours left on mine) and we went out on a few dates.
I think maybe twice for me, so yeah it’s pretty rare lol

Yes, a few times. It’s always a nice ego boost, and it’s a great perspective builder as well. For every girl that’s this forward with you, there’s at least a dozen more who are into you.

Yeah, when I was 12… I’m 26 now. The only time girls approach me is at work, even then they probably don’t want to except that I can fix their phone.

I ask guys out alllll the god damn time. But never randomly, we have to have actually had some kind of intersection for me to gauge and discernible personality traits and weather we mesh well.
