Use the coffee date to get to know each other and keep a Plan B in your sleeves for some fun place you could go (not too far away from your coffee location) in case you like each other and want to « spontanously » switch to something more fun.
A childrens playground for example is a damn good place to have some fun.
Find a coffee shop that has board games or other fun activities to do while you talk.
First dates are the easiest dates man. Just ask lots of questions about them like what their into etc.
