Dating : How do I get a gf in the USA? (I’m 20M)
My weight is currently 210 pounds. I’m 5’8”, and I’m going to be shifting to the USA after a few months.
How do I get a gf in the USA? And is it normal to ask a stranger out for a date in the USA? Or am I supposed to ask only girls from my future USA college on a date?
You’re generally only limited to the girls that you meet circumstantially. Like school and through friends. Approaching a stranger and asking her out is probably considered « weird » unless you’re insanely attractive. Dating sites are the most socially acceptable way to meet women outside of your social circle but good luck getting a response.
Don’t go up to random girls and ask them out people are hostile these days. Do get to know a girl before you decide to pursue anything romantic, it goes a long way.
I know dating apps get a bad rep but if you have a good attitude then some good can come out of it. Even if you just make a good friend ya know? The way I look at it is: if I consider myself “normal” and I’m on a dating app, that’s gotta mean there’s more “normal” people like me on the app.

Another source: also met about 3 guys who showed up at my work unannounced so there’s that.
Basically, you’re playing the Russian roulette of dating but I truly believe just being ~positive~ helps.
