Dating : How do you know that you’re in a relationship with somebody?
are you in a relationship when you just keep seeing each other and having sex on a regular basis?
do you ask « hey you want to be my boyfriend/girlfriend » « do you want to committ? »

Like i’m genuinely confused. Because if I’m having sex with somebody for a year, then you are my boyfriend whether you say it or not.
That’s why you should define the relationship early. I’ve been having sex with the same woman for over a year now but we both consider ourselves single. Because we talked about it and we know a real relationship between us wouldn’t work and we just need to get our rocks off nothing more. If you personally feel like it’s too casual talk to them about it and see where they think the relationship is and where you think it is and figure out if you guys want the same thing or not.

They respect you, care about you and show you love and compassion. They give you the most precious thing they have …..their time and energy.
A committed relationship status should be implied at this point, otherwise the people in this non-relationship relationship do not respect each other.
Frankly, if a guy’s been regularly fucking a girl for a year and doesn’t consider her his girlfriend, he is a bad person and the woman has no self-respect.
