Dating : How many good relationships are there really?

Dating : How many good relationships are there really?

I always hear singles complain about being jealous of seeing their friends getting married and haveing kids. That has not been my experience. I would say about 80% of all relationships Ive seen have failed. 10% work out. 10% stay together unhappily. Look no farther than divorce statistics that dont even take in to account failed long term relationships that didnt make it to marriage.

Its all a mirage.

  1. It’s the missing of having someone you wanna spend time with. share memories with. and kids are a result of that and you get to watch them grow (in a perfect world)
    ..

yea relationships fail, everything dies eventually but it’s the journey.

love is a game of chance, and we all decide who we wanna take that chance with….

  2. I also feel that relationships don’t have stressed in them that committment is important. Valuing the person that you have feelings for, and having good faith in them. Being able to move past disagreements, and concentrate on what makes them special/stand out are extremely important.

There is no one who is perfect, and a perfect relationship without conflict could really only happy from perfect people. But there are many relationships that WORK, and are better for the people in the relationship than if they were not together. They value each other, and are valued.

People often get complacent and forget what is important. What really matters about the person they’re with and get their heads stuck in their ass regarding what makes them happy, and end up focusing on what isn’t perfect — when nothing and no one ever is perfect.

  3. Yeah, you never know what’s going on behind closed doors. Couples who look happy might be silently arguing right there in front of you. You just never know. Not every relationship is perfect and neither is one person perfect.
