honestly if he’s that inexperienced then id say you should absolutely do the heavy-lifting here. i doubt he’s not interested, but he probably doesn’t know the rules or feel confident in the whole pre-dating « talking » process. i’m sure once he feels more comfortable with you he’ll initiate conversations more often.
