Dating : How should I approach this?

So, I have a new colleague at work that just got back from her holiday today. We don’t know each other too well but I make an effort to go to where she is and chat while she makes me a coffee. And we get on pretty well. I wanted to ask her out the moment I met her but then she went on holiday, and now that she is back, im going on my holiday. Typical right? I wanted to ask her out today but she was never alone so it didn’t feel appropriate.

How do I move forward with this? Having a little time off is a perfect time to ask her because then we don’t have the awkward working around our schedules thing.
