Dating : I still think about him even though we never met
So about a year and a half ago, I met a guy through an app. From what I can remember, he didn’t have any pictures, which made him a bit of a mystery. However, we talked on the phone most nights for a week or two before he asked to come over to my place. We had made plans to chill and watch a movie in my living room. An hour before we were supposed to hangout, he called me and said something along the lines of: “ I’m sorry but I can’t come over. It would be better for you if you lose my number and no longer contact me. Goodbye.” This kind of floored me because although I knew he was a shy person (from our phone conversations), I also thought we had a pretty good connection. Anyway, sometimes I can’t help but wonder if I’ll ever see him or have seen him in passing due to how small our town is.
May I ask how this ‚relationship‘ even started? I mean having no photos at all on a dating app might be a major dealbreaker for the most people.
