Dating : Interested or not?
Seriously how to tell if a guy is genuinely interested or just after a hookup?
I’ve been talking to this guy for a few weeks now and at first he showed a lot of interest in me, we chatted quite a bit and he kept complimenting me etc., but now that I’m also showing interest back he seems to be withdrawing?
Also I heard from my friends that he does have a crush on someone and coincidentally the way he described her fits me quite a bit but I still can’t tell what to think about all of this and don’t wanna read too much into it? Either I’m the person he likes or he’s playing multiple people at the same time, how can I tell?

Sounds like he lost interest if he was interested. It’s very possible you were the girl he liked but after getting to know you he’s out of the infatuation phase.
