Dating : Is dating usually such a chore for everyone else?
I’m so burned out with it but I’m not getting any younger and would like to be in an official relationship with someone (started dating later than most at almost 27 and I’m now 28). I’ve never gone past the third date with someone before I realized we weren’t compatible or I wasn’t attracted to them for one reason or another. It’s hard to not find it hopeless.
I’m 34m and never gone out on a date, let alone be in any kind of relationship. I don’t care about dating anymore.
Less of a chore and more like torture, because the more I get older the more I realize ‘why’ some people have all the luck and why others struggle. I’m beating against a brick wall. The game is rigged.
It feels like a tireless chore to just look. I’m still 23 but I have time to figure it out. I’ve always been horrible at maintaining a relationship.
I feel it’s a chore too I’m not picky I am looking for certain personality traits and you think with a big population like we have it be easier it hasn’t. I am still hoping there a guy out there that has what I’m looking for. Until then I work on my personal goals in life and hopefully meet a guy that way I do not want to try online dating anymore that makes dating a chore.
It’s a roll of the dice really. There is no definitive answer but it’s something you have to seek for yourself. Once you tell yourself you want to actively search for a relationship you really can’t stop. Yes, it’s definitely a chore, but, you’re not going to have a fulfilling and meaningful relationship with someone by not doing something.
