Dating : is this real or should I walk away
I’ve been seeing this guy for over three months. We might on an app and agreed we wanted to get to know each other before really committing to anything. About a month ago we agreed to be exclusive. I’m trying to understand if we’re going anywhere. I don’t know if I want to really open up just for him to leave.
If he agreed to be exclusive, I wouldn’t overthink it. Labels like « boyfriend / girlfriend » are just labels for the rest of the world to see… It’s going to go somewhere if you’ve built a genuine connection with him — and obviously you have already done that to some extent since he wants to be exclusive!
Enter this with an open heart and mind! You’ll really regret it even more if you let a good thing slip because you DIDN’T open up. If you aren’t being truthful and open, then that’s more of a reason for him to leave.
