Dating : Just wanted to talk about this crazy date I went on.
I haven’t had a boyfriend in 2 years but I’ve decided to try and date again. I met this guy at party a few weeks ago. Extremely handsome, soft spoken, and a very calm and endearing vibe. He was impressed that I came up to him first, and he was definitely into my looks. Leading up to our date we’ve had a lot of good conversations and he seemed like a gentleman. But on our date …. it seemed like a completely different person. He was constantly on his phone, uploading pictures to Instagram, and even answered a FaceTime call from another GIRL in front of me and made plans with her but claimed they were just friends. On the other hand, he was constantly telling me he thought I was beautiful, and then he wanted to kiss me. The strangest part had to be when he attempted to give me an ultimatum that I let him be in control of all decisions if i wanted him to be my boyfriend get FaceTime calls and phone calls from him. I found this to be absolutely ridiculous and haven’t spoken to him since.
Now i know why there’s so many single women out here.
Yikes, sounds like you really dodged a bullet with that one
Ghost him. Not worth it.
From a guy, run don’t walk. Erase that numder yesterday!
Wow, that might be the worst first date story I’ve ever heard lol. Sorry you had to deal with that, what a waste of your time

Where is « out here » if you don’t mind?
I’m always open to criticism, and I try to be conscious of any toxic tendencies that I have, but this man is just defying common sense, definite red flag city right there.
Seems like a total narcissist.
Classic f*ckboi tests…the FaceTime with other girl’s to show you he has plenty of options /is of “high value”, being charismatic to still pull you in then push you back by ignoring you with his phone. He was hoping you had low self esteem/confidence issues and that by doing this it’d make him more desirable in your eyes and you desperate enough to comply to his controlling terms.
