Dating : New to OLD, am I understanding how Bumble works, correctly?
It says that girls start the conversation. Fine. No problem.
As usual, I can’t see likes without paying. Ok.
But if they like me, why not send a message? Can I also not see messages without paying?
I went to hit the heart for a like, but it keeps seeming to want me to pay for a super like or something.
It the site basically useless till you pay? Or am I just not using it correctly?

Bumble is pretty much exactly like Tinder except the girls message first. You don’t NEED to pay for anything. It will let you know when you get a match and then show you a timer letting you know how long they have left to message you until the match expires. Some girls just don’t message their matches.
If they dont message you nothing happens and the conversation goes away after 24-48 hrs
You have to swipe, pressing the heart that you mentioned is similar to a superlike on tinder, except you have to pay for it. Just swipe left or right and the girls need to message you, I’ve never paid for anything on bumble
