Dating : Pictures on tinder (male)

So, I have a question. What do you guys think about using pictures of your upperbody (male) without a shirt on for tinder? I really like going to the gym and spending my time with training and research for that in general. I don’t want to be the guy who shows off or something, it’s just a big part of my hobbies and I’d like to meet someone who has similar interests. Therefore, do you think it makes sense to use those, or will it just appear like showing off?

  1. The girls that are there for hookups will appreciate it, they get to see what they’re getting before they commit.
The girls that are on there to find someone will probably just think you’re a fuckboy.

  2. Girls say it’s a turn off, but those are the only people they will swipe right on if their body is good enough. So yeah, go for it. Girls don’t know what they want until it’s in front of them.

  3. You can’t please everybody bro. Maybe do a week or two with no shirt. Then do a week or two with a shirt? Hedge your bets. It’s a numbers game.

    God speed. x

  4. People who complain about nice bods on display are full of shit and if you’re a gym enthusiast, you don’t want any of that smoke. Girls who go to the gym will appreciate it, don’t worry about it.

  5. Girls will say they don’t want it, but you’ll get more matches if you show some attractive muscles.
Do you bat an eye when a girl has a bikini mirror selfie?

  6. It’s fine if it’s in a reasonable context. A shirtless mirror selfie looks bad. On the beach or doing manual labor or doing a big lift is better.

  7. I’m not a fan of the shirtless photos. Flexing for the mirror selfie is a clear left. If you have a photo hanging out at the beach or pool, it’s ok. If majority oh photos is shirtless, left.

  8. I am using dating apps because I am looking for a serious relationship, a partner. When I come across guys who have the main picture as their abs, I swipe left. Yes you can be proud that you have worked hard and want to share your hobbies, I think that’s great. But wait until you’ve striked up a conversation, then you can tell her what your hobbies are and it will be more interesting. Having a picture like that at the front of your profile just removes a lot of the intrigue and I think a lot of women would find it superficial, albeit judgemental, but that’s just the nature of dating apps.
