What the hell is this?! I was getting messages from a lady, and she would send them to me in the form of snapchat vids… She wore these kitten ears and a little heart shaped nose, and it made her voice sound like a goddamn cartoon character. It was annoying, and I am actually glad she decided she wasn’t interested in dating me.
Girls think it’s cute. Or they’re insecure about their appearance. Especially noticeable with girls who have filters on every photo on their profile. I was fooled by this once. There are some guys who like them, though.

Snapchat is generally considered to just be for fun. Obviously, if someone uses so much filter you can’t be sure wtf they really look like I’d agree there’s a problem going on here. That said, Snap knows its audience and it knows the type of shit girls and women just love so you see many of them using cutsy filters.
