Dating : Third date on his birthday. What do I get him? Where do I bring him?
It’s obviously still pretty early on and I’m trying to get to know him. (We’re both 23) He cheekily asked me to bring him out on his birthday which I agreed obviously but what do I get him? Where do I bring him? I don’t want it to be too over the top as it’s so early on so I want it to be appropriate as well.

Maybe ask him what his favorite restaurant is? And I’m not too sure what you guys think is fun but you could go to the dollar store and get a bucket and be like « fill it with stuff you want » and that could be a gift.
Maybe take him to a nice restaurant and instead of buying him a physical gift ask the staff if they can do some special birthday desert? Like something with a birthday wish written on it, or something with one of those small firework things that they bring out for him as a surprise? I did this when I was in the same situation (it was a bit later though but still only the second month) and the guy really appreciated it!
