Dating : Weird or not?
I’m 21 F. So there’s this friend of mine 21 M in college we were so close when we were in first year and that was 2015…and recently 2019 we kept on hanging out, he introduced me to his high school friends and his friends were actually lowkey teasing us. Anyway, fast forward I got drunk and I told him I like him. Fast forward, he actually likes me and admits that he has a crush on me ever since before. we’ve been spending a lot of time together. Chilling in his condo and stuff. Suddenly one day he decides to just tell me over chat that we should just be friends…cause he thinks it’s better that way. Anyway, he has a test tomorrow and I’m close friends with his classmates as well. I was thinking if I should leave a box of my homemade brownies with a note that says « *****(his name btw) good luck on your test,you got this >:dd< on the front desk of his condo -his nickname for me. So that the guard can give it to him once he goes down his condo for his classes. Do you think it’s the right thing to do or he’ll find me WEIRD? OR WILL HE FIND ME SWEET 🙁

I think it’s a grand gesture, the kind you do for people you want to have a particular relationship with. Respect his boundaries and his wishes and just send him a good luck text. Grand gestures are romantic. And if you’ve already established you both had that feeling once, but now he doesn’t want, acting like that kind of relationship is still a thing between you too can be awkward.
Be chill, be a friend, and don’t go out of your way to be generous and loving above the level he wants to give.
