Dating : Went out on a limb.
Been talking to this girl, well actually I’ve seen her a few times as in stayed at her house, coffee in bed in the morning etc. We have the same sense of humour and laugh at each other’s jokes which is cool. We both love surfing as a way of life, and seam to already have conversations with our eyes. Anyway, she went on a college trip last weekend and I thought I would do something original instead of messaging here « how was your trip » like some boring Normie, so I wrote her a note on one of my surfboard fins in permanent marker – « this is just a note on a surfboard fin to say I’ve been thinking of you », and put it in her letter box.
Today she messaged me « did you leave me a parcel? » And I replied with « an attempt at originality I suppose.. ». 4 hours later, non reply, hasn’t « looked » at message. But I get the feeling she holds back her read receipts to feel some sort of validation which means all could be perfectly reciprocated for days and I just won’t fkn know.. damn you zuchbook messengerrrr
I go weeks without checking my FB messages. I wouldn’t worry about 4hours.
Screw U guys, she loved it. I get an A+ for originality.

On the other hand , if she does that for some kind of validation , maybe that’s not the kind of person you want to be dating if you’re not into games
