Sorry I have no idea how to find my source, but I distinctly remember reading something about how many people want to meet their significant other/soulmate as it is displayed often in movies. Sometimes people even going as far as to break up with someone if they didn’t meet the right way. Probably saw it on Reddit somewhere lol
I used to find it hard to believe that the average man sleeps with 7 women in his lifetime in the US, then ever since I started dating I’ve had an average of 1 new girlfriend per year. The stat doesn’t mean most men sleep around necessarily. It means people go through a lot of breakups.
