Dating : What do you find attractive or off putting in a potential date?
E.g. In appearance, behaviour. Could include initial things that don’t tell you anything about a person. For example, no smoking for me (hate 🚬), heavy makeup I can find looks bad imo, prefer a more natural subtle look.
Cat loving a plus, vegetarian/vegan good
Smokers are also the top of my no-no list.
Also a big one is I don’t like men who only speak about themselves and won’t ask anything to get to know me.
Nose picking.
I hate HATE HATE being interrupted. The number of guys that constantly interrupt and don’t know is mind boggling. It’s not like I talk much either, I’m very good at active listening. I was once so fed up with a guy that, on my way to introduce him to a friend we ran into, I said “When we meet her, let’s try to keep the interrupting to a minimum.” And he said “Oh of course, I never interrupt.” I admit, I ghosted him after that night.
Other than that, it’s the usual stuff that is generally off putting: poorly groomed, obviously bad grammar, bad smells, bad breath, old/dirty/faded clothes, humble brags. Things that just reflect a total lack of effort.
