Dating : What does this mean??
Me & my ex broke up several months ago. They were dating someone else for a bit but they have since broken up. I have tinder gold and he liked me about a month ago. I thought maybe it was a mistake but he liked me again a couple days ago.
Liking once can be a mistake, liking twice is intentional.
My question is, what does this mean? This may be unrelated but his ex messaged me on instagram but deleted the message and blocked me before i saw it.
Someone more intelligent dissect this plz.
It means you should block their profile and move on with your life. If they wanted to talk, I’m sure they have your number. It sounds like this person is messing with you.
They want you to chase them, you broke up they dated someone else and now they are baiting you. It’s a classic sign of hovering that a narcissist will do, not saying this person is one. Don’t fall for it please! Don’t be fall for the bait, don’t reach out and please do not meet them. I’ve been there multiple times, and never again will I be second place.
It means you should block him everywhere and stay no contact.
It means block them and do not look back.

Honestly, it’s hard to say, but I will say this much:
He is your ex for a reason. Is that reason still valid? I don’t know why you guys broke up so I cannot say. If it is, he must stay an ex for your own good. If it isn’t, it’s up to you to decide if the relationship you had with him was good enough to give him another chance. If you aren’t sure, act as if the reason he’s your ex is still valid.
Most of the time, an ex wanting another chance is not them realizing that you were someone they did not want to let go of. It’s them running out of things to do on their end and arrogantly assuming that you have lingering feelings for them and will allow them to come back into your life so that they can do as they please with your time. Too many people get excited when an ex comes back because it strokes their ego. Finally, he realized he was missing out on a great woman! Finally, she realizes that I am the one for her! Yeah, that’s rarely ever the case. It’s usually as I said a matter of them being out of other options, being bored, being horny, whatever. If I were you I’d ignore his attempts to reach out to you. It’s unlikely that he genuinely cares to be with you. That is NOT a reflection of you as a person, it’s a sign of his lack of maturity and integrity.

Well, the truth is, that it probably means exactly what you think it means. Your ex left you, tried someone new, that relationship has since moved on and now they wonder what you’ve been up to. They see your profile is active on tinder and are testing the waters.
I did something similar with my ex, though I didn’t leave her for someone else, I broke up with her right before the pandemic lockdown happened because it frankly wasn’t going anywhere and keeping the relationship going through lockdown would have been tough if I wasn’t going to stay. We broke up in february, I just worked a lot but it was amicable so we stayed following each other on social media. She’s still a pretty girl to me and over the pandemic I made a few comments like « Lookin good » or something. I wasn’t expecting a response but sometime in september, she sent me a snap in a bikini and asked what I thought, a week later we were hooking up again.
So, what do I mean by this? It means, that he’s still thinking of you but doesn’t know if you’re still thinking about him. If you are, send him a text, get a convo going and see where it goes. Start it off with something like « Drove by that (place) where we shared our first kiss, it made me laugh to remember how that security guard tried to kick us out. Hope you’re doing well. » If he’s interested, (which he probably is because Tinder), he’ll respond.
Save yourself some time and emotional energy and ignore it completely.
He’s decided that although you’ve accused him of wrongdoing its you that was the backstabbing cruel one. Dump me for no reason, couldnt take 30 minutes of your time to talk to me. Put meon the street homeless with $600 in my pocket at a $1000 a month motel, no job, no unemployment and you just turned your back. Then because yiu dont want your family to know you love to sleep with stranger black guys that you showed more respect to than me. You put court orders on me for something I’d have never done , tell your family that. I go countless times 2 and 3 days with no food. Lose my job, cant get a job because of you. I forgive all of that and try to just talk to you. But your throwing me in jail for that again instead of talking. Now that you see I’m going to sue the both of you for LIES that cost me thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars you want to be friends now. Qell here’s my thought if you wanted that yiu wouldn’t of hung up on me so here it is. F Y
You never was concerned when I went days without eating, you never was concerned when I was losing thousands of dollars, you never was concerned when I was homeless, you never was concerned when I forgave you yet you hung up on me, your not concerned im hoing to jail because its to late your attorney filed the papers, YOUR ONLY CONCERNED NOW THAT IM GOING TO DO WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE IN OCTOBER. ESPECIALKY NOW WHEN I SEE YIUR ATTORNEY ALREADY TRIED TO GET A JUDGEMENT FOR MONEY YOUR TRYING TO STEAL FROM ME FOR SETTING ME UP.
