Dating : When would you consider it “seeing someone”?
Would it be after a couple dates, or would it be a couple months into dating the same person? I am genuinely just confused.

Is there any sort of significance you’re thinking of beyond being able to say you’re « seeing someone »? I would personally say it after the third or so date when you feel that it’s going to be a regular thing.
I don’t think anyone really has a definitive answer on this as it seems to be used interchangeably with « dating ». If I hear a woman say she is seeing a guy I will infer that she is somewhere between date #1 and several months, but not on the level of being exclusive and using the boyfriend label. Personally I wouldn’t describe myself as seeing someone if I’ve only been on a handful of dates with her, but I’m just a guy.
I think at the point you stop actively dating other people? Like in between them being just another candidate and being totally exclusive.
When I know I’ll see them again. They’ve expressed interest in another date and I’m secure enough to believe it. Seeing someone doesnt imply exclusivity to me but does imply there’s potential for it.
For me seeing someone is when I’m focusing on one person date wise. I only go on dates with one person, not multiple. So my end is exclusive from the start. They can do whatever they want. When we are both exclusive I’d call it dating someone.
Seeing someone to me would be in the 3-5, maybe 6 dates range. After that would be girlfriend.
