Dating : Cute guy gave me his number at work
What should I say? “ Hi it’s the girl from ____ “? I feel like such a dork because he was really cute. I just want to get out and meet somebody new, nothing serious so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to text him. I’m just not sure how to start the convo
You can take two directions:
1. You be straight forward and tell him what you want, it either works with flying colors or he’s a bit off put and maybe fizzles out eventually due to lack of chase.
2. You send a very short, brief text that doesn’t give any cards away and you see what he has to say as sort of a test to learn intentions and whether or not you like him
NGL I just role played as a woman there and it’s helped me gain some perspective. I would totally do option 2 if I was a woman.
Don’t date people where you work.
But you are free to do whatever feels right to you.
Just say hey it’s me and just dive in. Would you talk on the regular in work if so send him a message about something that happened in the office or whenever and go from there
