Dating : Dating might not be for me?
Reddit newbie here! I (24F) have been on and off on Tinder and have never been in a relationship before. I’ve not done anything. Haven’t even had my first kiss. I’ve been independent my whole life and I feel like I’ve come to a point where I don’t need anyone else?? And this kinda scares me.. Dating isn’t really working out. I’m either getting ghosted or I’m just not that attracted. I feel like I’ll just end up alone.
Tinder’s pretty much a shitshow unless you just want to hookup. Actually, dating is pretty much a shitshow these days in general so don’t get hung up on the ghosting. Also, nothing wrong with being good with being alone with yourself, it’s a strength more than anything. Independence is awesome.
Just because you don’t need somebody else, doesn’t mean another person wouldn’t add value to your life. Look for a partner who enables you to grow and be better than you ever thought possible.
