Dating : Dating two people and defining the relationship!

I met two amazing men on a dating app and have been seeing them for two months now.

“James” is my age (26) and wants to move the relationship forward but I’m more interested in “Steve” who is younger (22) but we have great chemistry and more in common. I don’t want to string or keep dating two guys, but I think I screwed up yesterday. I tried to define the relationship with Steve and told him that I was looking for something more than casual and he said he didn’t know because he may or may not move away for a new job. He also has never been in an actual relationship. I told him about James but it didn’t seem to faze him.

Ugh, things were going perfect with Steve, we’ve been going on day dates and having a great time but I think I may have scared him or ruined things by asking this too early and we ended last night because of our difference 🤦‍♀️ is there anything to salvage this?

  1. Been there, done that. Neither of them. Always pick yourself. James seems right, but you like Steve. But Steve isn’t sure about you. You will either drop em both, or you will pick James. But it’s not fair to James, him being the backup or second choice. It’s possible for your relationship to develop overtime and yeah, maybe you can learn to love him. But don’t settle just for the sake of settling. Timing is a big part of finding the right one.
