I (23F) matched with someone on a dating app a few weeks ago. I was pretty interested so i gave him my number and he texted me. He asked when I was free for a drink and i told him the days I was, he wasn’t free on those days so he asked me if I was free that night and I wasn’t we decided on the next week. He ended up texting me the day after asking if I was free and I wasn’t so we agreed on next week. The day before we were supposed to meet I asked if he was still down to and he said work related stuff came up and that he’d be back by the weekend but I couldn’t do that weekend so he asked if the following Tuesday would work and I said yes. The day before Tuesday we still had no set time or place to meet and he didn’t text me to confirm. I decided that this meant he wasn’t interested. He could have just forgotten, I’m not sure. We didn’t really text aside from trying to plan a day to meet so, I don’t think anything I said turned him off. I was pretty interested in this guy though. Idk if texting him again to see if he’d like to meet up seems eager or if I should take the hint that he’s not interested and lose his number.
I was in a similar situation recently, you eventually think the woman is just looking for attention and give up the chase. Text him and I’m sure he’ll say yes
I would text him. It’s always good to get rid of that « what if ».
He was probably waiting for you to text him. Unfortunately guys are really bad at making plans now. Since he seemed interested initially, I would try one more time to make plans. If the plans fall through again though, I would forget about him and move on. Don’t waste your time and energy on someone who can’t bother to make concrete plans and meet you.
