Dating : How would you react if your GF/BF invite you for a last minute weekend gateway with another couple ?
Long story short. My gf was planning this weekend a gateway with her friend and another couple i have never met. She called me last Thursday to tell me that she is going and she is obliged to go with that friend and if it was Okay for me. I Said fine, have a nice weekend.
This morning she told me that her friend is not going anymore and if its possible for
Me to join them. I said no i can’t, cause i planned to see a friend of mine since she is not her this weekend. Moreover, its complicated for me to handle this kind of last minute invitation. I’m not here sitting doing nothing and just waiting for her to give a sign and make some plans. Another thing, i dont know this couple and its not the 1st i made efforts to meet strangers for her. I need a break from meeting her tons of friends cause it’s a bit awkward…
Now, i think she didn’t appreciated that i declined her last minute invitation. Whos wrong?

You’re not wrong and you can still appreciate the invite without actually accepting the invite.
not accepting the invite and not appreciating the invite are not the same thing.
basically you have made your whole weekend plan already based on the idea that you’re not going to see her, and so that may involve people that you have already made commitments to.
