My friend has a wedding next month and her friend (who I am not romantically interested in) needs a date. I said yes to going a while back because why not?

I’m getting a bit nervous however as I won’t know anyone except my two friends who are in a relationship, and I really don’t know my date too well at all. I’ve met her once and she is as quiet as a mouse. I’m fairly good at conversation but I’m worried that will be difficult if she is really shy. I just want to show her a good time, be a great date, have fun, and still keep things platonic.

Any tips for making the most out of a possibly awkward situation?

  1. Reminds me of going to prom with someone that we are not dating. One good way to break the ice is to have a quick meetup prior to the event. That way, you have already gotten through the initial hi, I’m so and so , and you can instead enjoy the wedding with your date

Tinder : With 255 matches and a number of hook-ups I can count on 1 hand, it was looking hopeless for your boy. Swiped right on this one and here we are less than 2 years later at OBX, NC.
