Dating : Is it a bad idea to focus on my (22M) career instead of dating?

Dating : Is it a bad idea to focus on my (22M) career instead of dating?

I’m currently working and studying at the same time, and it’s making me pretty busy. I’m an actuary, and I have 10 exams total until I’m fully credentialed. I’m 7 down and got 3 to go, and I expect to finish when I’m around 24. The last time I dated was when I was 15 (does that even count?), and since then, I’ve done nothing but study and work. When I see friends around me with their girlfriends or really just any guy my age with a girlfriend, it does make me wonder if I’m making a huge mistake. My concern is that my dating naivete will come back to bite me when I start dating cluelessly and drive away someone that I like. On the other hand, I don’t meet a lot of girls my age that live the life I live (9 – 5 job, early to bed early to rise, paying all my bills, not living with parents), so it feels like I have to go through a lot of people to find someone compatible. I just don’t now if it’s worth it.

TL;DR: delay my career and date or focus on my career and stay single
