Dating : Is it possible to like someone before meeting them?
I’m currently talking to a lady I met on Facebook. We’ve been talking for about a month, and since more than two weeks we’ve been talking by phone every day. We’ve also obviously seen each other’s photos so we both know how the other looks.
I feel like I really like her a lot and she says she also likes me and seems to always miss me if we don’t talk for a few hours. However, the thing is that we haven’t met yet. Recently she also started calling me things like « darling » and I reciprocated (feels kind of weird because we haven’t met yet and obviously aren’t in a relationship).
I’m wondering if it’s possible to really like someone before having even met them. We have a date in a few days so I’m really scared everything will be different face to face. I truly feel like I fell in love with her personality and I’d hate to think things might be different face to face.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. And if anyone has had a similar experience, I’d be glad to hear about it!

I’ve had one experience like that (hello online dating) but it turned out to be that the connection wasn’t all I thought it would be irl.
Just try to stay grounded enough so that if when you meet up and it isn’t all you hoped it would be you aren’t too disappointed.
