Dating : My Summer Fling
I (18M) had the best summer with my 3-year high school crush (17F) after graduating high school. Two months ago I wouldn’t have believed I would’ve had the best summer with this girl, because we were pretty much strangers. I told her I liked her over social media to get it off my chest, and a few weeks later she and I found ourselves going out with mutual friends out of coincidence. We started talking and got pretty close over the summer. It was just a few days ago that I kissed her for the first time, and I was so so so nervous but happy. Today was our last date since she’s going on a trip soon. She won’t be back until the end of summer, which is when school starts. I don’t think we know each other well enough to stay in each others lives that much longer, and it hurts, but I’m so glad I got to spend my summer with her.
