Dating : Not sure how our first date went
I met with a girl on Bumble for our first date yesterday. We met for pizza and ice cream. Conversation was great, and we seem to have a lot in common. When the date ended, she told me that she was leaving for a family trip early the next day. I had to work in the morning.The date lasted about 2½ hours.
I followed up to make sure she made it home ok. She did, and said she had fun and thanked me for dinner. She says she definitely wants to show me a BBQ spot she knows of sometime. I told her that sounds like a plan, to have a safe trip, and I’m looking forward to getting together for another date soon.
I haven’t heard from her today. Does it sound like she’s interested in me? Should I wait for her to reach back out?
If she is leaving in a family trip, I’d give it a few days. If she mentioned how long the trip is, wait until after. If she didn’t say, give it a couple days and then message saying “Hey! Was wondering if you got back from your trip, and would like to meet up!”
If she texts at all during the trip then she is down to text, but otherwise I would wait. Everyone is different but being respectful of their plans is generally good.
But, other people may have better ideas, I am very laid back in my approaches haha. She does sound interested though so I’d just wait
I normally try to setup the next date as soon as the one we’re on ends / that night. Depends. Not hearing back for a day after getting to know someone isn’t abnormal. I say wait 1-2 days then ask her what’s gooddd
Just chill and be patient. I know it’s hard when you meet someone nice but just relax and keep yourself occupied.
Anxious and impatient much?
Wait for her to reach out. Don’t come off as desperate or clingy.
