Dating : Rebound help

I’ve been dating my current girlfriend since about 5-6 months ago and it’s been going pretty good but our arguments seem to involve incidents that occurred when we were friends.

When we first started talking, we had a decent connection but never met due to her pushing me off. After 2 months of talking, we kinda stopped talking after I came out to her about how i felt she blew me off since we met and she said we are “really good friends” and that’s why we didn’t do much together. After that I found she was in a sexual relationship with someone else. After THAT, we really didn’t talk till a month later when the dude humped and dumped her. I helped her through this time and we started dating through this.

After talking about what happened, turns out she didn’t think I would like her due to her size (she’s a bit thicker than I am). She told me she went out with other men to develop her confidence. Basically saying she didn’t feel comfortable going on a date due me apparently being “out of her league” With the other guy she had the relationship with, she says she was forced into it but can’t say much because she consented. She only stuck with him for the month because he too her virginity and wanted to fix the situation.

After being told all of this, I felt like I was just a “healthy rebound”. I haven’t been able to cope or how to take the whole situation lately. I know I should be grateful for having her now but I have a deep feeling she’ll leave after that whole incident. Being pushed off to the side and chosen 2cd. Any tips of accepting this and not think about it.
